Roald Dahl The BFG A5 Softcover Notebook

The BFG and Sophie sit under the line "This is where all dreams is beginning," which is exactly the sort of wording that makes a notebook feel like more than school stationery. At $15, the A5 softcover format gives readers 192 pages for ideas, notes and stories while keeping the dream-filled BFG mood front and center. Best for: Bookstores, stationery stores, children's gift stores, literary gift shops and independent gift retailers Retailer margin: 50% at MSRP Why it sells: Dream-filled BFG artwork on a practical 192-page A5 notebook Merchandising: Stack beside The BFG book or pair with the BFG mug and metal bookmark Case pack: 6 Packaging: Belly band Key specification: A5 softcover notebook with 192 pages WHY THIS PRODUCT The cover gives customers a reason to choose this notebook over a plain one: the BFG, Sophie and the dream line make imagination part of the product before the first page is opened. Inside, 192 pages leave plenty of room for notes, journaling, study or creative writing, so the design is backed by genuine everyday use. WHY THIS BRAND The BFG is wonderfully odd, which gives the giftware room to be playful rather than polished for its own sake. Quentin Blake's characterful artwork keeps that dream-filled world close to the story, even when the product itself is something practical for everyday use. RETAILER FIT Bookstores and literary gift shops can place it directly beside The BFG, where the connection is obvious. Stationery stores get a familiar literary design with broad writing use, and children's gift stores can offer a mid-priced present that sits comfortably between a book and a larger piece of giftware. HOW TO MERCHANDISE Display it face-up so the dream line and artwork do the work from across the table. Add the BFG metal bookmark and wonky mug nearby and you have three price points without needing a large collection. GIFTING & USE A good choice for young writers, readers, students and BFG fans at birthdays, back-to-school or Christmas. It can be a journal, homework notebook, idea book or simply the place where someone starts writing something of their own. EXPLORE THE COLLECTION The wider Half Moon Bay Roald Dahl range spans drinkware, stationery, accessories and small giftware across Matilda, The BFG, Fantastic Mr Fox, The Witches and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Retailers can start with one story or price point and build a broader literary display over time. MATERIALS & SPECIFICATIONS Material: FSC paper Pages: 192 Dimensions: Approximately 8.3 x 5.6 x 0.5 in
